NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Expect Japanese Korean inspired comfort food in the space formerly occupied by the Latin restaurant Cienega when Moon Rabbit Noodle Bar opens Friday, Oct. 24, on Main Street in New Rochelle.
Owner Pedro Munoz says he is re-branding and redesigning the eatery to reflect the Sapporo style -- think ramen with double and triple broths and price points in the $25 range.
"We wanted to create a more casual restaurant that attracts more families," he says. To that end there will be communal benches and a kids menu. The chef is Korean-trained James Kim who has worked in a variety of New York City restaurants. Call 914-632-4000 or go to moonrabbitny.com for more information.
