The director of the film, Malcolm Lee, is a New Rochelle resident and one of the restaurant's "friends" or investors. The film also includes seven of restaurant owner Alvin Clayton's Matisse-inspired paintings. The special menu includes the choice of an appetizer (Soup of the Day or Caesar Wedge Salad), choice of an entrée (“Westchester’s Best” Fried Chicken with Mac & Cheese, Slow-Cooked Greens or Crispy Fried Catfish with Ground Grits, Black-Eyed Peas, Remoulade Emulsion or Braised Oxtail Stew with Peas and Rice, Cabbage) and choice of dessert (Coconut Cheesecake or Amaretto Bread Pudding).
