New Rochelle House Tour Benefits Montefiore Hospital

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The 15th annual New Rochelle House Tour recently showcased five homes rich with architectural details and design ranging from the 1900s to contemporary style.

Using creativity and resourcefulness, the five homes have been transformed to exemplify today’s lifestyle while retaining the architectural integrity of their origin. The diverse styles capture the various period of building in New Rochelle's history. Styles showcased included the turn of the century arts and crafts movement, classic colonials from the 1930’s and 1940’s, and a split level circa 1950.

This year’s house tour benefited the pediatric emergency services at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital. Montefiore is focusing its efforts on improving all areas of pediatric services at the hospital, including the creation of a separate, dedicated pediatric emergency room.
