Situated on the shores of the Long Island Sound, New Rochelle possesses suburban beauty in the form of parks and nature preserves as well as a healthy arts and culture scene, the Times real estate report said.
For seniors, and others who no longer want to maintain rambling private homes, there are many apartments, The New York Times story said.
