NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Acclaimed authors, musicians, artists, chefs and more who all hail from New Rochelle will be returning home for the 325th Anniversary Homecoming Showcase on Saturday, Nov. 30 at the Whitney Young Auditorium at New Rochelle High School.
Author E.L. Doctorow ("Ragtime"), hip-hop group Brand Nubian, classical pianist Adam Kent, dixieland jazz band Tigertown Five, Derek Bermel director of the American Composers Orchestra, Keith Bryant executive chef of Melba’s Restaurant and others will be in attendance for the celebration.
“New Rochelle’s rich diversity is demonstrated in the variety of internationally-acclaimed artists we have assembled for this showcase,” event coordinator Billie Tucker said in a statement.
Tickets to the Showcase are $20 for general admission, $10 for seniors, $5 for students and $60 for VIP tickets. The VIP tickets include reserved seating and a celebrity reception.
Checks can be made payable to the New Rochelle 325th Anniverary Committee and mailed to the NR 325th Anniversary Homecoming Showcase, P.O. Box 211, New Rochelle, NY 10804. Tickets will be held at the door.
