Mitchell, a New Rochelle native, turns 71 Monday. Mitchell, a journalist, anchor, and reporter for NBC News, was born Oct. 30, 1946.
She graduated from New Rochelle High School and the University of Pennsylvania.
She is the NBC News Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent and reports with “Nightly News with Lester Holt,” “Today” and MSNBC. She also anchors “Andrea Mitchell Reports” weekdays on MSNBC, has appeared on and guest hosted “Meet the Press” and is often a guest on “Hardball” with Chris Matthews and “The Rachel Maddow Show.”
