The workshops will feature live demonstrations by professional landscapers on using leaves to enrich soil, grass and flowers.
"Love 'Em and Leave 'Em" promotes mulch mowing and its advantages such as being a natural fertilizer, saving time and effort over raking leaves and the prevention of excess nutrient runoff.
Workshops will take place at the College of New Rochelle on Wednesday at 3 p.m., New Rochelle High School on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 4 p.m. and Lincoln Park Community Garden on Oct. 24 at 11 a.m.
