New York's increase in millionaires between 2011-13 was 8 percent compared to the national average of 11 percent, reports lohud.com.

Westchester County had the most people in New York making more than $1 million with the exception of Manhattan, but it's down nearly 6 percent between 2012 and 2013, reports lohud.com.
