NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- New York Yankees legend Mariano Rivera delivered the keynote address at the 4th Annual Latino Youth Leadership Conference at New Rochelle High School.
The conference drew Latino teens from 14 high schools across New York City, Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Sullivan, and Nassau counties.
Students in the New Rochelle High School's Hispanic Culture Club planned and coordinated the event.
Rivera's address explored cultural identity, leadership, college and career planning, and the Latino vote. He also led a one-hour discussion with parents.
