Monday, June 25

Registration is available for the New Rochelle Paine to Paine Half Marathon. Go to www.painetopaine.com for information.

Tuesday, June 26

Friends of the New Rochelle Public Library Book Sale: 1 p.m.-3 p.m. The organization has its biweekly sale in the back of the first floor of the library. Books and other items will be for sale. New Rochelle Public Library. One Library Plaza.

New Rochelle School Board Meeting: 7 p.m.-9 p.m. The board meets in a committee of a whole session. A special meeting will then be held at 7:30 p.m. for the installation of new board members Chrisanne Petrone and David Lacher. New Rochelle City Hall. 515 North Ave.

New Rochelle Planning Board Meeting: 7:30 p.m. The board meets for its monthly meeting to discuss a variety of items on the agenda regarding certain project’s throughout the city. These include the restoration of a church on North Avenue near the New Rochelle Police Department. New Rochelle City Hall Annex. Room B-1.

Wednesday, June 27

New Rochelle Yard Waste Collection: 7 a.m.-8 a.m. The New Rochelle Department of Public Works will be picking up yard waste throughout the city all week.

Thursday, June 28

Industrial Development Agency Meeting: 5:30 p.m. The agency meets to discuss various items in regards to the continued development of the city. New Rochelle City Hall Annex. New Rochelle City Hall. 515 North Ave.

Friday, June 29

New Rochelle Farmers Market: 8 a.m.-3 p.m. The farmer’s market is held on the New Rochelle Public Library Green. A variety of fresh local produce, organic food, breads, and pies are available for customers to purchase. New Rochelle Public Library Green. One Library Plaza.

Senior Benefits Information Center: 10 a.m.–1 p.m. Assistance in identifying benefits such as Medicare health and  prescription, food stamps, HEAP, EPIC, weatherization, minor home  repairs, tax-relief programs and more is available in the New Rochelle Public Library’s new information center. Trained volunteers provide free, confidential, one-on-one counseling and access to print and online materials. New Rochelle Public Library, BTOP Help Center, second floor. One Library Plaza.
