Monday, Sept. 10
Pelham School Board Meeting: 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. The board meets to further discuss several items on the agenda. This includes possible changes and updates to the district’s code of conduct for the current school year. Alumni Hall, Pelham High School. 575 Colonial Ave.
Tuesday, Sept. 11
New Rochelle 9/11 Service: 7:30 p.m. A memorial and candlelight vigil is held to honor those lost Sept. 11, 2001. The evening consists of healing through remembrance, song and prayer. Patriotic songs will be sung and mentions or remarks will be made from those who lost loved ones during the tragedy. American Legion Post 8, 112 North Ave.
Wednesday, Sept. 12
New Rochelle City Council Meeting: 3:45 p.m. – 9 p.m. The governing body meets to discuss various items on the agenda. This includes the proposal for a new office building and parking garage at Sound Shore Medical Center. New Rochelle City Hall, 515 North Ave.
Thursday, Sept. 13
New Rochelle Yard Waste Collection: 7 a.m.- 8 a.m. The New Rochelle Department of Public Works picks up yard waste from a designated location in the city.
