New Rochelle Senior Benefits Assistance Center: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. New Rochelle seniors can receive assistance with figuring out health benefits during this weekly session. Trained volunteers also will be available to help senior citizens with Medicare health and prescription, food stamps, HEAP, EPIC, weatherization, minor home repair and tax relief programs. Appointments are on a drop-in basis. Second floor HELP Center, Second floor conference room, New Rochelle Public Library. One Library Plaza.

Pelham Battle Of The Bands: 7-10 p.m. Bands compete during this special Friday night event. Pelham High School Auditorium. 575 Colonial Ave.

New Rochelle Reception And Gallery Talk: 5:15-7 p.m. City Historian Barbara Davis shares stories regarding former New Rochelle resident and American illustrator Norman Rockwell during this free public event. First Floor. New Rochelle Public Library. One Library Plaza.
