The Harlem Wizards vs. The Jefferson Tigers: 7 p.m. Tickets are available to see the Harlem Wizards play the Jefferson Tigers, an event that features New Rochelle High School Varsity Basketball Coaches Rasaun and Rashiem Young along with some surprise guests, faculty, family and friends. Block of Arts Movement: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Multiple New Rochelle artists are mobilizing to create a highly anticipated Block of Arts circuit. Galleries and studios, surrounding Huguenot, Division, Centre and Main will exhibit works in photography, oil painting, graphic design, glass making, sculpting, handcrafted jewelry, sketching, wine making and floral design. Sunday, March 24
An Afternoon of Writers and Poets at the New Rochelle Public Library: 2 p.m. The Westchester Review , the only literary journal of Westchester writers and poets, will present a reading by authors who were published in the 2013 issue. The readers include Clark Cooke, Dylan Gilbert, Brendan Kiernan, Douglas Krohn, Michael Malone, Daphne Carter McKnight, Joan Motyka, Pete Reilly, Susan Walton and Fred Yannantuono. A reception and Q&A will follow. Editors from The Westchester Review will discuss the submission process for the 2014 issue. The event is free and open to the public. The event will take place in the Ossie Davis Theater. The library is located at 16 Lawton St. in New Rochelle.
