Monday, Feb. 18 – Presidents Day Holiday Closings: New Rochelle City Hall, City Court, the public library and the Huguenot Children’s Library will be closed. In Pelham, all municipal buildings, including Village of Pelham, Town of Pelham and Village of Pelham Manor offices and the town library, are closed Monday. All New Rochelle schools and Pelham schools are closed this week for February break.

Tuesday, Feb. 19 Free Tax Help: 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Trained AARP volunteer counselors will be available to file taxes electronically. Be sure to bring all tax-related materials. Free. New Rochelle Public Library Community Gallery, first floor, 1 Library Plaza, New Rochelle.

BID Goes Global for the 325th Anniversary: Chinese New Year: 10:30 a.m.-2:45 p.m. To celebrate the Year of the Snake, a children’s craft workshop for kids in pre-k through fifth grade will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Make a dragon puppet and red Chinese lantern at the Meeting Room at the New Rochelle Public Library, 1 Library Plaza, New Rochelle.
