Monday, Jan. 28

Pelham School Board Meeting: 8 p.m. A proposal for a new turf service at Pelham’s athletic field will be presented to Pelham school board members during their second meeting of the month. Peter Giarrizzo will  be appointed as the district’s new superintendent. A welcome reception also will be held. Pelham High School Alumni Hall, 575 Colonial Ave.

Tuesday, Jan. 29

New Rochelle Planning Board Meeting: 7:30 p.m. A new diner near the New Rochelle Home Depot and and a new dormitory at Monroe College will be discussed by the New Rochelle Planning Board during its regular monthly meeting. New Rochelle City Hall, Room B-1, 90 Beaufort Place.

New Rochelle School Board Meeting: 7 p.m. New Rochelle's schools superintendent discusses employee demographics during this meeting. Ward Elementary School, 311 Broadfield Road.

Wednesday, Jan. 30

New Rochelle Exhibit Closes: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Residents have one last chance to view illustrations by New Rochelle resident Norman Rockwell during this special exhibit. New Rochelle Public Library lobby, One Library Plaza.

Thursday, Jan. 31

New Rochelle Tax Bills Dues: Deadline is today for residents to make their property tax payment. Payments received by mail after Thursday will be charged interest.
