Pelham School Board Hearing: 8 p.m. The Pelham School Board meets to hear what residents have to say about a donation for a proposed turf field at Glover Field. Pelham High School Alumni Hall, 575 Colonial Ave.

Pelham Retirement Reception: 6 p.m.-7 p.m. The Pelham School District hosts a reception for retiring Superintendent Dennis Lauro. Pelham High School Alumni Hall, 575 Colonial Ave.

Pelham Town Board Meeting: 7 p.m. Trustees are expected to adopt the town’s 2013 budget during this special meeting. Second floor, Pelham Town Hall, 34 Fifth Ave.

Tuesday, Dec. 18

New Rochelle Planning Board Meeting: 7:30 p.m. The Planning Board meets to discuss a developer’s plans to build a diner near The Home Depot and New Rochelle YMCA. New Rochelle City Hall, Room B-1, 90 Beaufort Place.

New Rochelle Board of Education Meeting: 7 p.m. The Board of Education meets to discuss a variety of items. The board will hold its regular meeting at 8 p.m. Linda Kelly Theater, New Rochelle High School, 265 Clove Road.

Wednesday, Dec. 19

New Rochelle High School Instrumental Winterfest: 7 p.m. New Rochelle High School students play winter and holiday songs during this annual concert. New Rochelle High School, 265 Clove Road.

Thursday, Dec. 20
