“Westchester families can enjoy a great movie as they spread their blankets on the sand and take an evening dip in the refreshing salt water at Glen Island beach,” said County Executive Robert P. Astorino.
The park opens at 7 p.m. for swimming, picnicking and relaxing and the movie begins at sundown. Patrons can bring a picnic or purchase food from the concession stand. Swimming is only permitted until dark.
Admission is $5 per person and free for children under 5. A Westchester County Park Pass is not required to attend. For seating, attendees are to bring blankets or chairs. Rain date is July 16.
The Family Film Frenzy series continues on July 22 at Saxon Woods Pool in White Plains with "Big Hero 6" and on July 28 at Wilson's Waves Pool in Mount Vernon with "Annie."
