Following an extensive investigation, Jose Valentin Sr. 42, Jose Valentin Jr., 26, and Jonathon Valentin, 23, all of Bridgeport, were arrested on Monday, Jan. 27, by Fairfield Police, said Capt. Robert Kalamaras.

The investigation began following an incident on Jan. 11 when officers responded to a home on Riverside Drive in Fairfield for a report of a stolen vehicle, Kalamaras said.

The victim told officers that the vehicle, a white Subaru Crosstrek, had been left unlocked with the keys inside, which included a key to the home.

A few days later, on Jan. 16, Fairfield Police responded to the same home for a report of a burglary and a stolen vehicle.

The victim reported that she and her husband woke up to find the first floor of their ransacked their vehicle stolen, Kalamaras said

Two days later, on Jan. 18, Fairfield Police responded to S. Benson Road for a report of a burglary in progress in an occupied home.

The home is within a quarter-mile of the previously burglarized home.

The burglars got away, but on Jan. 20, Fairfield Police arrested Alberto Rosado, 30, in connection with the South Benson Road burglary, following a wild police pursuit.

The three Valentin's were arrested as co-conspirators in that crime and the earlier crimes, Kalamaras said.

All three men were charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, larceny, and conspiracy to commit larceny.

They are being held on a $75,000 bail and are scheduled to appear in court next month.
