The group -- 2011 semi-finalists on “Britain’s Got Talent,” who set the Internet on fire with their all-vocal versions of “Hips Don’t Lie” and “All I Want for Christmas is You” – is on a tour of the U.S. Their only other New York appearance will be at the 54 Below Nightclub in New York City on March 26, where tickets start at $25. Tickets for the New Rochelle performance cost $12 for adults, $10 for students and seniors and are available at the door or in advance from www.nredfund.org.

The performance is being sponsored by the New Rochelle Fund for Educational Excellence and the New Rochelle Council on the Arts. This student-run all-male a cappella group, founded in 2000, sings an eclectic mix of songs, focusing on covers of modern rock and pop hits. A sensation in England, they have toured the UK and the U.S. and in 2011 they were semi-finalists on the popular TV show “Britain’s Got Talent.”

The group has won numerous competitions and to date, have produced 14 studio albums, three live albums and one compilation album. As part of its mission, they regularly donate and create charity singles to benefit Helen & Douglas House, the world’s first children’s hospice.

The group is made up of students from Oxford and Oxford Brooke universities with a roster that changes every year; members are all accomplished in both academics and music.
