October Calendar Full At New Rochelle Public Library

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The New Rochelle Public Library has a full list of events on tap for residents during October including everything from concerts to book sales and an art show.

To kick-off the month of events, the library will feature a book sale both Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The public will be able to select from a wide range of hardcover and paperback books( including new fiction), CDs, DVDs, and more.

Following that, Vincent and Emily Ricciardi will perform beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday, songs from Italian favorites, grand opera, musical theater and the American Song Book.

The married singing duo have performed together throughout the tri-state area, treating the audience with everything from their exceptional voices and Puccini and Rodgers and Hammerstein, to Mozart, Gershwin, and more.

Sponsored by the Friends of the New Rochelle Public Library, the suggested donation is $2.

Another popular event, The New Rochelle Art Association's 100th annual Open Juried Show will be on display through Oct. 25.
