New Rochelle Public Library Exhibits Memorial Day Tribute

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The New Rochelle Public Library will be closed Sunday and Monday in observance of Memorial Day.

The library will exhibit a memorial tribute to New Rochelle residents who died while in active duty through Friday, June 3. It also can be viewed Monday immediately following the ceremonies at Memorial Plaza. 

The public may enter the library's Memorial Highway entrance to view the exhibit in the library's lobby. The library will otherwise be closed Memorial Day.

The Friends of New Rochelle Public Library's Monthly Big Book Sale is scheduled for Friday, June 3 and Saturday June 4. Used books, CDs and DVDs will be available for purchase from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

The League of Women Voters of New Rochelle will host a voter registration table Saturday, June 4. 

BID Family Market Day with Zev Haber takes place at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 4 at the Library Green. The BID Grand Market offers local farm-fresh products, gourmet items and ethnic prepared foods.

The Children's Room has the following new titles:
