New Rochelle Library's Independence Week Activities Underway

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Here's a look at what's going on at the New Rochelle Library during the week of Independence Day.

  • Children in pre-K through Grade 5 will be able to register for the 2015 Summer Reading Game in the Library Lobby, check-out stacks of books, and start earning points for prizes.
  • The Homegrown String Band will perform on Saturday, July 4 at noon. 
  • The library's summer hours are now in place. Saturday hours are now from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and closed on Sundays. The Huguenot Children's Library will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Both libraries will be closed on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4, in observance of Independance Day.
