New Rochelle Jazz Musician Performing Thursday at Alvin & Friends

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The Courtney Johnson Quintet is coming back to New Rochelle's Alvin & Friends on Thursday, Dec. 12.

The one-night-only celebration includes New Rochelle’s own trumpeter Courtney Johnson, Brian Carter on drums, David Joubert on piano, Devin Starks on bass, Michael Stephenson on tenor sax and two featured vocalists, Tradonioa Baker and Shakira Thomas-Atily.

Alvin & Friends is at 14 Memorial Highway in New Rochelle. The restaurant features contemporary cuisine with Southern and Caribbean flavors as well as live music on Friday and Saturday evenings and a Gospel brunch on Sundays.
