NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Celebrate Black Cat Appreciation Week with the New Rochelle Humane Society on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at its shelter.

Adopt a black or black-and-white cat in honor of Black Cat Appreciation Day.
