The reception will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. and feature 30 paintings being shown for the first time since a solo show by the artist in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood in May and June.
Tobey’s art feature bright and glossy colors on canvas.
A New Rochelle High School music teacher, Tobey will also play violin pieces from his professional work with the Westchester Philharmonic and other musical groups.
