Adderley was the musical director for the late R&B icon Luther Vandross. He not only wrote and arranged songs such as Vandross’s Grammy Award-nominated “Give Me the Reason,” but also has produced, written and arranged songs for other celebrities such as Beyonce, Natalie Cole, Aretha Franklin and Johnny Gill.
