Dumont officials said the eight-man crew fielded 202 calls in January and February. The team answered 558 calls for all of last year, NorthJersey.com reported.

Officials said while much of the spike is from the new agreement, more calls are also coming in from cellphone users in cars, who may not even be driving in Cresskill at the time of the call, NorthJersey.com said.
