The company participated in a similar event last fall and raised over $30,000. The company is currently selling tickets to the event for $50.

Additional funds will be raised through a company-held silent auction, featuring items donated from local Rye merchants including four tickets to a New York Giants game with a parking pass, as well as a signed jersey from wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

All money raised will go directly to My Sisters’ Place in support of its efforts to end domestic violence by helping victims while focusing on community education and prevention.

My Sisters’ Place also combats human trafficking throughout Westchester County, and offers advocacy, shelter and legal services to those in need.

Purchase of a ticket allows participants to “sip, snack and stroll,” gaining them a drink and a tasting at each of nine restaurants featured on the tasting tour, including Ruby’s Oyster Bar, Morgan’s Fish House, Encore, Town Dock, Rye Bar & Grill, Fogama, Aurora, Frankie & Johnnie’s Steakhouse, and Wine at Five, which will offer a wine tasting.

“I am so proud to support My Sisters’ Place, a vital organization that works to effect important social change in our community,” said Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty Rye brokerage manager Pati Holmes. “I am also tremendously grateful that such an excellent selection of Rye restaurants has decided to open their doors and join us in this worthwhile cause.”

Tickets can be purchased online at atasteofrye.com, and exchanged for a wristband at the company’s Rye brokerage located at 49 Purchase St., between Starbuck’s and Ruby’s Oyster Bar, on Friday, Sept. 18 or Saturday, Sept. 19 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
