JCC Academic Center In Scarsdale Offers College Preparation Classes

SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The JCC Academic Center will offer college preparation class for free at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, in Scarsdale.

Now in its eighth year, this program brings together deans and directors from top colleges and universities for an insider’s look at what colleges look for in applicants and how applications are read. The schools represented this year include: Case Western University College of Charleston Franklin & Marshall University of Chicago University of Rochester University of Virginia Even if these specific schools are not on your student’s list, this program will provide valuable insights into the college admissions process.

The Center offers everything from ACT & SAT Prep, to organizational skills workshops to speed reading, in an effort to help students build the skills they need to succeed.

In addition to the above program, JCC will be offering free ACTs and SATs throughout the year for free for the first test. Subsequent tests are $75
