The restaurant said family heirlooms that were taken from the restaurant on Saturday, Oct. 21, the night it closed its doors, have been returned. The restaurant was a staple on Route 17 for more than 30 years, owned by the Hajiyerou family.
"Thank you all for helping us get the word out there," the restaurant said on Facebook. "This certainly would not have happened without your help. We are truly grateful."
The items were a green wooden Crow's Nest sign that was under the TV in the bar area and a vintage milk canister that was kept in a vestibule. The Crow's Nest was known for its live music and roast beef sandwich.
