Massive Fire Destroys Chester Building

A Chester City building was burned to the ground in a multi-alarm fire that had crews on scene for nearly five hours Saturday.

The blaze on the 200 block of Trainer Street broke out around 7:15 p.m. and brought more than a dozen fire departments to the scene.

Injuries were unknown and cause was under investigation.
