Warrant Issued For Arrest Of Newark Shooting Suspect, 21

Police in Newark have issued a warrant for the arrest of a 21-year-old man wanted in connection with a shooting last week.

Dyquan Miles is a suspect in the Dec. 10 incident on the 400 block of University Avenue, Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said.

The 8:25 p.m. shooting sent one male to the hospital, who was treated and reportedly in stable condition.

Meanwhile, authorities are seeking the public's help finding Miles, who is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall with a light brown complexion, black hair and brown eyes. 

He is known to frequent the area of 440 Washington St.
