“We are proud to have a special reason this year to celebrate our Scouts and honor the thousands of volunteers who have worked tirelessly over the years to help local boys build character and leadership skills through Darien Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts,” said Leslie Pennington, president of The Andrew Shaw Memorial Trust, the Darien Scout troops and Cub Scout packs' chartering organization. “We hope this can be an occasion for current and past Scouts and volunteers to reconnect with old friends and that everyone in the community will join our celebration to help set the foundation for another century of leadership, service and community for our boys.”

The centennial celebration, which is from 6:30-11 p.m., will feature dinner, dancing, a short program and a silent auction. All are welcome to attend.
