Get A Cut-For-The-Cure At New Rochelle's Shear Pleasure

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Shear Pleasure Hair Design will host its first annual Cut-for-the-Cure on Oct. 11 for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The New Rochelle salon will offer $25 hair cuts from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with all proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society.

“We are proud to join with our customers to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research and prevention,” said Barbara Nunziato, founder and owner of Shear Pleasure Hair Design. “Breast cancer has touched so many lives and I am blessed to have the opportunity to support the cause with the help of my amazing staff and incredible clients.”

The New Rochelle salon will offer $25 hair cuts from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with all proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society.

Guests can also purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win one of several gift baskets.

Walk-ins are welcome and light refreshments will be served.

Shear Pleasure is at 43A Quaker Ridge Road.
