NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Though temperatures may climb this weekend, New Rochelle music lovers will be keeping it cool.
The fifth annual New Rochelle Jazz Festival begins Saturday at 1 p.m. and ends on Sunday at 9 p.m.
The festival will take place on the Library Green and feature nearly 16 hours of free musical entertainment.
Performers include the Alexander McCabe Quartet, the Brian Carter Quartet featuring Malo Mazurie, Gil Parris, the Ray Blue quartet, Tasty Mike Murphy Blues, the CJ Quintet, Eli Fountain, and the Richie Morales Quartet featuring Jay Azzolina.
The festival is part of the city’s 325th anniversary celebration, and is sponsored by several local organizations and businesses, including 103.9 WFAS, Jolo’s Kitchen, Robek’s and The New Rochelle Committee on the Arts.
