NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Family Services of Westchester will host its annual Star Gala on Thursday, April 14, at The Fountainhead in New Rochelle.
The gala is FSW’s premier annual fundraising event as well as an opportunity to salute an "all-star" team of local philanthropists and iconic sports heroes. This year, FSW will honor Westchester philanthropists Judy E. Rollins and Markham Rollins III, who have gone above and beyond the call to provide support to the residents of Westchester County.
The Lifetime Achievement Awards will be presented to basketball legend coach Bob Knight and Yankee great Andy Pettitte. The evening’s keynote speaker, Notre Dame's Daniel "Rudy“ Ruettiger, will share his inspirational story as the feature behind the motion picture "Rudy." A lineup of sports icons will also attend and be featured at an exclusive VIP reception, including former New York Giant and Super Bowl XXV MVP Ottis Anderson, Yankee great Bernie Williams, and baseball legends Bill Buckner and Mookie Wilson. Steiner Sports, founded by FSW board member Brandon Steiner, is the evening’s headlining sponsor.
"The funds raised at the Star Gala are vital to ensuring all local individuals and families have opportunities to thrive,” stated Steiner, honorary gala chair. “Westchester is a stronger community because of FSW's efforts, and I hope the community joins this group of all-stars to support a stellar organization.”
Tickets are available at the website. For more information about the gala, purchasing tickets, sponsorships or placing an ad in the journal, contact Caitlin Halle at 914-305-6876 or via email, email@example.com.
