Drug Giveback Day Set For Saturday In New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - New Rochelle residents have another opportunity Saturday to turn in expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs.

Residents can turn in medications in Sound Shore Medical Center’s Joyce Pavilion lobby, 16 Guion Place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The federal Drug Enforcement Administration is hosting the event with the medical center.

Those interested can park in the center’s visitors’ lot free of charge for the first 20 minutes. An administration representative will be in the main lobby to receive the drugs. The event is free, anonymous and no questions will be asked.
