Curious George At New Rochelle Library's Think Big

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The New Rochelle Public Library will feature its Think Big! program Aug. 1 for children 5 years of age and under at 10:30 a.m., as well as 5 years of age and older at 2 p.m.

The 90-minute film compilation "Sweet Dreams," starring Curious George will be shown at 10:30 a.m. in the Ossie Davis Theater. The beloved children's character will participate in episode's worth of adventures which include Night of the Wiener Dog, Movie House Monkey, Say Goodnight, George, Hundley's Great Escape, The Big Sleepy, Red Sky at Night, Monkey's Delight, Curious George and the Invisible Sound, and Water to Ducks. All movies are rated G. 

At 2 p.m., Animal Embassy will be on hand to introduce children ages 5 and up to the world of nocturnal wild life. Live examples will be presented to explain the behavior and activities of animals that live the majority of their lives while most people are asleep. Animals will include a red-eyed tree frog, a hedgehog, a sugar glider, ball pythons, a rabbit or a ferret, a spotted salamander, a Tokay or crested gecko and more.
