Caroline Doctorow Performs Folk Concert At New Rochelle Public Library

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The Ossie Davis Theater at The New Rochelle Public Library is hosting a concert Saturday, March 12, featuring Caroline Doctorow (acoustic guitar, vocals) with Gary Oleyar (fiddle, guitar and duet vocals) and Bob Green (upright bass).

The performance is at 3 p.m., followed by an announcement at 4:30 p.m. 

In this program, Doctorow and her band will focus on the folk music of performers such as Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Tom Paxton, Donovan, Richard and Mimi Farina, John Hartford and Dave Van Ronk. 

She will also share some of her original compositions and her reminiscences about growing up in New Rochelle as the daughter of author E. L. Doctorow.
