It will showcase five beautiful homes rich in architectural detail dating from the turn-of-the-century to contemporaries reflecting the diverse architectural styles which abound in New Rochelle.

Representing the diverse styles of New Rochelle residences, homes on this year’s tour range from turn-of-the-century arts and crafts movement, to classic colonials from the ‘30s and ‘40s and a split-level circa 1950.

All of the showcase homes have one important aspect in common this year – homeowners who possess an extraordinary vision of what their homes could be after renovation, said Berdie Stein, co-chair of New Rochelle House Tour 2015.

A highlight of the 2015 tour is a completely renovated turn-of-the- 20th century Arts and Crafts treasure. Designed by a Hollywood architect, the house retains its original leaded windows, floorings, moldings, fixtures and hardware, merged beautifully with 21st century enhancements. Reconstructed walkways are in the original modern style frame grass plateaus and a has patio that faces the Long Island Sound.

Longstanding lead tour sponsor Houlihan Lawrence, with offices in both New Rochelle and Larchmont, is joined this year by Sotheby's, Coldwell Banker, Better Homes and Garden, Rand Realty and Douglas Elliman.

Ticket holders will meet at the Oakwood Indoor Pavilion at Five Islands Park to get itineraries, maps and box lunches, and enter a raffle to win prizes donated by local businesses.
