Officials with Regus, the Luxumbourg-based company that operates a network of business office centers, said they picked New Rochelle because of the revitalization of the downtown area, among other things.

Trump Plaza, 175 Huguenot St., is an example of a renewed interest in New Rochelle to make the town a live, work and play destination, company officials said.

Having a Regus center in town will allow professionals a chance to work closer to home. Regus provides office space and other services to large and small companies.

“Businesses of all sizes can now access our flexible office for any amount of time right in their own community,” said Maria Paitchel, Regus’ regional vice president. “Our business services, professional setting and on-site team help people be more productive and successful."

Regus’ move into New Rochelle expands the company's Westchester County presence, which already includes Rye, Tarrytown, White Plains and Yonkers. Easy access to highways and the three major New York area airports as well as the growing Westchester County Airport made New Rochelle a good move for Regus, officials said.

The 39-story building provides great views of Long Island Sound and Manhattan, and is centrally located for rail travel, company officials said.

Furnished offices, meeting rooms, business lounges and virtual offices are among workspace options available to Regus clients. A receptionist, administrative team and tech support are standard services in each center.

Regus offers a variety of spaces to fit company budgets. The Regus network includes 3,000 business centers in more than 900 cities and 120 countries.

More than two million customers visit a Regus location each day, officials said. Companies such as Google, Toshiba and GlaxoSmithKline, to name a few, outsource their workspace needs to Regus.

Founded in Brussels, Belgium, in 1989, Regus is listed on the London StockExchange. For details, visit the company's website
