LinkedIn, a site widely used by job-seekers, professionals and others, will begin the new vacation policy Nov. 1, according to the report. Those who had been working with 15 accrued days off and 13 paid holidays annually will now have nearly unlimited days off and 17 paid holidays.
How the new vacation model will impact work life for the company's staff of 8,700 remains unclear, according to the report.
Citing American society's general value of "workaholism" and a recent survey by Glassdoor, Business Insider reports workers in the United States are reluctant to take the limited vacation time they already have given to them.
