Hosted by the New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce, the official ribbon-cutting included Mayor Noam Bramson, City Manager Chuck Strome, City Council members Barry Fertel and Linda Fried as well as New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce President Frank Miceli and other Chamber board members.

Owners Frank Dinapoli and Tommy Anderson (a lifelong New Ro resident) are veterans of the restaurant business and partnered on this establishment together.

The tavern, with its "Grab a Pint" theme, is as known for its American comfort food, craft beers and cocktails, as it is for its promotions including trivia night, sports nights and weekend brunches.

The sports bar features every football game on DIRECT TV Sunday Ticket as well as all of the beloved New York sports teams.

Mayor Bramson called it a welcome addition to the north end.

North End Tavern is at 1301 North Ave., (914) 633-3224,  www.northendtavernr.comf.
