After serving clients in New Rochelle for seven years at the energia LLC fitness studio on Division Street, owner Lisa DiMaggio Greco has relocated her practice to 987 Main St., where she believes increased visibility will allow her to continue improving the physical and mental health of even more patrons.

Greco said that she hopes that by relocating energia, she will bring in business from surrounding municipalities.

“I chose to relocate to have more visibility with a storefront studio and engage the neighboring communities, such as Pelham,” she said. “I needed to be more accessible and in a central location with more convenient parking. (Now,) I’m able to provide a place where like-minded healthy and fit clients gather to work out, discuss challenges and share positive health related experiences.”

At its new location, energia will offer a myriad of “intimate, non-intimidating” fitness classes, a series of personal training sessions in a variety of disciplines and services to help female clients struggling through menopause, gaining weight after giving birth and self esteem issues.

“Energia offers personalized services beyond the typical training sessions available in southern Westchester,” Greco noted. “Each program is tailored to one’s lifestyle and specific needs or goals; it is not a one size fits all approach.”

Continuing her lifelong connection to New Rochelle, Greco and energia is teaming with its neighbor, Remi’s Deli, to offer special deals to patrons of each business.

“We’re partnering to add healthier deli options to their menu, including salads, egg whites and veggie wraps. (There will be) healthy protein smoothies made with fresh ingredients and the right nutrients,” she added. “This will enable gym goers and other locals alike to pick up a post workout protein smoothie or grab a quick and healthy snack option.”

An Iona College graduate, Greco has been a certified fitness trainer and instructor for nearly two decades. She is a certified holistic health coach, an alum of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and is trained in shoulder girdle stabilization, exercise and arthritis, cardio kickboxing, post breast surgery exercise and aquatic fitness.

"I am passionate about fitness and living a healthy lifestyle. I am compassionate with my clients but hold them to a high standard. I have been told that I'm very dynamic and offer edgy, never boring workouts,” she said. “Offering professionalism, being polite and being kind are important to me. I take my work very seriously and value my reputation as devoted trainer committed to my clients success.

“Having someone that has your back and a partner in this journey is one of the biggest benefits energia can offer.”
